OK, in my last couple of posts, I touch on the reasons in which over 90% of home businesses fail. We established that the only way to make them successful is to get a large amount of customers.
After trying to "hit up" your friends and family, posting signs, and classified ads in the local papers. Where do you turn?
At this point the fustration is probably setting in and you do not know where to turn. (Remember, I've been there!) You probably have seen little or no profit, in fact your business is probably in the red.
Next, most of us will turn to the World Wide Web. Maybe too much information and so many links of promises that their product is the ticket for you. How do you choose?
Well, it comes down to whoever created the best advertisement that draws you in and tells you what you want to here and how this is going to help you and generally in a pretty quick time frame.
I can't tell you how many products I have purchased or strongly concidered that I thought would make my business explode! Don't get caught up in this! If your business hasn't failed yet, It will SOON!
Listen Carefully!
They are doing exacting what you need to be doing for YOURSELF!!!
They're getting customers!
If you have the willingness to make your business work you need an advertisement that will draw customers to YOU!
Millions of people surf the web each and every day! (This is an unlimited source of potential customers!)
Here are some quick tips:
There are only "2" types of advertising; free and paid.(ONLY DO ONE OF THESE AT FIRST- PREFECT IT AND THEN MOVE TO THE OTHER!!) Don't jump all in, common mistake that leads to failure and fustration.
Free advertising: Write and submit articles, start a blog, free classifieds, join forums. Although, these are free (except your time put into them) they generally will take weeks before they produce results for you. But if your on a budget, not a bad way to start.
Paid Advertising: Not as time consuming, but costs money! Pay per Click advertising is probaly the way to go as you only pay for clicks on your ad.
Keep your ad short and simple. (Remember, get potential customers attention in order for them to click on your ad) That's it, if people are clicking on your ad, they are being directed to your affiliate site or link.
Now it sounds simple, but it takes time and effort, trial and error to find what really works. You have to keep up with until you start getting what you want....CUSTOMERS!!!
OTHERWISE........WELL, YOU ALREADY KNOW...
