Working from home is not a decision to take lightly. Of course, most of us would do it if we could, but there is a lot to consider in making this choice.
There are obvious reasons why an individual would want to. Such as working your own hours, being on your own schedule, not someone elses. Being able to work around whatever obstacles one may face on a daily basis; kids in school, doctors appointments, kids sick at home, maybe childrens' atfer school activities. These can be awlfully appealing.
Maybe you hate your job. You can be your own boss. No one to answer to. Once again, it sounds nice.
OK. It would be great.
However, how does someone get started?
Am I going to produce enough income to support my family?
What is it that I am going to sell or provide?
How much can I afford to invest in this?
How long is it going to take it get this going?
The questions keep coming, probably giving you a headache.
Its a fear factor. Most of us are scared. You have a comfort zone knowing you have a steady job and income. You feel it is not worth all the risk to start a new venture. You can't possibly throw away all that you have worked for!
Right! This is why, we never make a change!
